I owe you a dinnner, seriously! You don't know how much it meant to Vena and me to get a set of 5 pictures of this special night! Vena IS moving down to Washington next Wednesday and we are getting married in June of next year (so all of our children can be there-she has 2 and I have 4 and they are almost all out of college or high school and on their own!). We are super happy and in love! I guess it CAN happen at any time in one's life (even at 56 and 48!). NEVER give up hope! Oh, and that slip I took out at the end of Cape Kiwanda while I was throwing the memorial bottle out to sea (for all of those grandkids who put notes in the bottle and I don't even know). Well it did cost me a rotator cuff tear with surgery scheduled next Thursday and I miss the world class fishing trip to the Kenai River and halibut and ling cod trip to Homer next week. But I caught something even better from Alaska and she weighs in at a nice 120 lb.! Thanks again Chris and J.D. You guys are awesome and we will be contacting you for our wedding!
